About EU Entry/Exit System at Palma Airport
The Entry/Exit System began on 12 October 2025 and was rolled out over six months at the external borders of the Schengen area, including Spain’s airports (European Commission). Non-EU visitors are registered with fingerprints and a photo on their first entry. ETIAS, the separate travel authorisation, is not yet in operation (travel-europe.europa.eu).
